AP Summer Studios: Christina A. West

ART PAPERS Summer Studios is series of studio visits with Atlanta-area artists, selected by Art Papers. Attendees will meet the artists and learn about their practices. Conversation and Q&A guided by AP Editor + Artistic Director Sarah Higgins.

Complimentary refreshments will be provided. AP subscriptions and merchandise will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $25 for each studio visit, and availability is limited. We recommend you purchase ticket(s) early.

Ticket holders will be contacted with additional information regarding studio locations prior to the event.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Christina A. West

Christina A. West is an Atlanta-based artist and Associate Professor in the Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design at Georgia State University. She holds a BFA from Siena Heights University (Adrian, MI) and MFA from Alfred University (Alfred, NY). Christina has extensively exhibited her work across the country in venues such as the Mattress Factory (Pittsburgh), The Everson Museum of Art (Syracuse, NY), Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center (Buffalo, NY), Plug Projects (Kansas City, MO), and Atlanta Contemporary (Atlanta, GA). Additionally, Christina’s work has been supported by a grants and fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts, The Archie Bray Foundation for Ceramic Arts, the National Council on Education in the Ceramic Arts, and the Virginia Groot Foundation.
