Join us in conversation as Art Papers editor + artistic director Sarah Higgins and ART PAPERS contributor Nathan Lee speak about his feature for the Fall 2022 issue, “Insurrectional Evolution—The Cronenbergian Revisited”

They will discuss David Cronenberg’s most recent film, “Crimes Of The Future” and its place within what has been described as the “Cronenbergian.” They’ll also chat about queasy indeterminacy, amphibian widgets, insect politics, and diseases with a purpose.

Nathan Lee is an assistant professor of film at Hollins University. He is a former film critic for The New York Times, The Village Voice, and NPR, and he is a longtime contributor to Film Comment.
