Art Papers is hiring a Program + Event Coordinator. This position is a part time role from February–December 2025 ($30/hr for 20hr/week average, with higher volume during program weeks) focused on administration and implementation of planned public programs and events. This role reports to the Executive + Artistic Director. This is a hybrid role: remote + one weekday in office + on site for scheduled programs.
We are seeking a highly organized project manager with experience guiding multi-part public programs through all stages of implementation by working closely with a dynamic team of collaborators. Strong candidates will be deadline-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and can think proactively as well as adaptively. POSITION SUMMARY
The Program + Event Coordinator will work closely with the Artistic + Executive Director to implement public educational programs, communicate with individual and institutional partners, implement program evaluation processes, and serve as the accessibility liaison for Art Papers. The coordinator will also support the Executive Director and Director of Institutional Advancement in the planning and implementation of occasional fundraising events.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Work closely with the Artistic + Executive Director, staff, and community partners to implement public programs and events.
- Build and maintain relationships with individual and institutional programming partners.
- Manage program-related logistics including audio-visual needs, communication with partners and participants, etc.
- Manage the logistics of program participants including contracting, scheduling, travel arrangements, and itineraries.
- Work closely with staff to develop program-related marketing plans and coordinate dissemination both internally and to program partners.
- Build and manage ticketing/RSVP systems and other online administration, with support from AP staff.
- Facilitate accessibility features for Art Papers programs.
- Recruit and manage volunteers for programs and events.
- Supervise program documentation.
- Develop and manage a program evaluation process.
- Track program participants and gather feedback through program evaluation
- Able to be on-site to assist and facilitate with scheduled public programs in Atlanta.
- Maintain all program-related records in a consistent, organized manner.
- Assist with the production of fundraising events.
- Other duties as assigned including general pitching-in as needed.
